My favourite of all time was Patsy Cline - I won a Karaoke competition, singing "Crazy" once! My other favourites were the Drifters, see them several times in concerts and couldn't speak for days afterwards due to all the screaming. I don't have a favourite song. I like most of the 50s and 60s songs, I have loads of cds with compilations of various artists. My MP3 player has mostly old music on too although quite often I'll go and pinch a track from one of my son's latest CDs, if I like the song/tune.

Does anyone remember "Last Train to San Fernando" by Johnny Duncan? I think it was about 1958 at the time of the Skiffle phase. It was when pop music began to get exciting and I really began to take a keen intrest in music of the day.
