HI BABS...A LOT OF THE ONES I HAVE WERE MY DADS, AND HE HAD ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT MUSIC THAT HE LIKED..IN FACT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT'S IN THE COLLECTION AS IT'S BEEN AGES SINCE I LOOKED AT THEM...I DO KNOW THERE WAS ONE THERE CALLED 'DEVOTION' BUT CAN'T REMEMBER WHO SANG IT.

Hi Tommy, Nat King Cole and Matt Monroe were both great singers. There was a program recently on tv here about Matt's life story......he seemed such a genuinely nice man. Whenever I hear Nat King Cole it takes me back to the 50's and 60's. my favourite singer was nutty slack (nat king cole) and matt monroe was good

does anyone know who first recorded the deck of cards there was a few artist who recorded it. wink martindale. eamon andrews. i think gene autrey did to. but the one im going for is phil harris "Deck Of Cards" was written and originally recorded in 1948 by T. Texas Tyler. It has also been recorded by Phil Harris, Tex Ritter, Wink Martindale, Max Bygraves, Bill Anderson, Pee Wee King, Redd Stewart, Merle Travis, The Persuasions, Hank Williams and thingy Curless.
