Hi Bodzy,
The clock was an hour slow the other day and yesterday Little Mo, informed me of this. How this occurred is any body's guess. But I certainly didn't adjust it. Unless it is something to do with ProBoards servers updating or whatever. I did correct it yesterday and it still is correct from my end.
Lisa, also informed me about the clock some weeks ago but everything looked right at my end so there was nothing I could do at that time. Perhaps it is because the servers are in America? Or maybe that and the software has some bugs as an integral part of it's make up? Who knows? The answers in cyberspace.
But, all users, don't forget that you can set the time in your own profile. If your profile time is wrong then your posting times will be wrong.
Bodzy, it was good to meet you on Thursday.
Regards, Alan

Lin ,yeah i watched the game but I have to go down the pub to watch it live (oh poor me) cos to see every game live we watch Greek Telvision or even Arabic TV ,the commentary is in English the adverts and half time talk is foreign and its a great excuse to have a pint and the banter with those from the Blue camp It wasn't a brilliant game but the result was HI BODZY...NOT A BRILLIANT GAME, BUT FRUSTRATING AND STRESSFUL.. Hi Bodzy, Favourite program: Its got to be JUDGE JOHN DEED, JUDGE JOHN DEED and JUDGE JOHN DEED......... T.V. programs , Well the best of the lot for me has to be "Shameless" it rearly is funny then probably the next will be" Green Wing" but for serious stuff I think" Wakeing the Dead" then for reality it was The Soprano's , that rearly was the business of course match of the day with United playing would eclipse everything, but I do like SkySports News as well

Speaking of favourite tv programmes - when our son was a toddler he was mad keen on Postman Pat and we began taping episodes of it as he loved to watch them over and over again. One day after I'd finished the washing up I walked into the lounge to find him busy playing with a few toys while a Postman Pat episode played on t.v. I sat down to rest my feet and began watching it myself (well, it was an episode I hadn't already seen). A few minutes later my son came up to me with a toy in his hand to show me that it had some plasticine stuck to its wheels - I shushed him away saying "just let me finish watching this please?" As soon as I realised what I'd done I felt such a fool!!! Not only was it on tape and could be paused while I saw to our son but it was an episode of Postman Pat!!!!! I still laugh when I think about it.

I don't know if anyone's ever watched Thomas the Tank but it was another of our son's favourite programmes. We were shopping once and it began raining so I tried to hurry our then toddler into the car. He turned to me and said, "All in good time, all in good time!" (Something that the Fat Controller says to the engines). Hubby and I just fell about laughing. I keep telling my son I could write a book on all the funny things he used to come out with!

I am loving Life On Mars (BBC1) at the moment. It's set in the years of our early married life so all the background music is SO relevant! The storyline that a detective involved in an accident in 2007 and falls into a coma only to wake up in the year 1973 is amazing. I laugh at some of the comments he makes to other detectives and policemen/women. When he said "shame it wasn't caught on CCTV" one of the other detectives asks "What's that?" and he has to think of a suitable response. There's a black detective who accepts why others leave bananas in his locker so the "coma" guy tells him it's not acceptable and he should start setting himself up as a role model for future generations of "black cops". Another funny thing was when they thought the IRA were planting car bombs and the like, using dynamite. Again the "coma" guy says "The IRA wouldn't use dynamite - they'd use semtex!" "What's semtex?" one of them asks. The writer of this programme must have had a field day - I couldn't have written it as I'd have spent most of my time laughing. (By the way if I've spelt SEMTEX wrong it's because I don't use it!) If nothing else - this programme has shown us just how far we've progressed!

Hi. I also love Loose Women. I have a good laugh when I watch that show. It is nice to find something that isn't censored with political correctness. At least the women laugh at themselves which I think is a good thing to be able to do. I also like New Tricks on BBC. That is another humour show. I think TV is sadly lacking in the humour department at the moment. Bring back the comedians.

HI FRANCES...YOU ARE SO RIGHT, TV IS LACKING A LOT THESE DAYS...I LOOKED IN MY SKY MAG LAST NIGHT AND THE SAME PROGRAMS ARE ON EVERY NIGHT FOR THE WEEK, REPEATS, REPEATS, REPEATS...NO SHOWS OR COMEDIANS ANYNMORE, ALL REALITY TV.

Hi When you think about it there are not a great many very good comedians about these days, are they a dying breed. What we need is more and more humour on tv. They say laughter does you good and I agree. I also agree about Martin Shaw. He is one of those people who get better as they get older. I like him better without his curls though. frances

Hi everyone I was at my friends this evening and we were talking about old programmes on the tv and we got to mention "man about the house" with Richard O Sullivan, and Paula Wilcox. Cannot remember the name of the blond lass in the programme. After that it went onto George and Mildred I think. Then there was man in a suitcase, the saint, the avengers, (no I am not having a senior moment) The human Jungle with Herbert Lom. I bet a lot of you are too young to remember these programmes. They were good ones though. Frances

What I say is bring back "Sunday Night at the London Palladium" and shows of that caliber they don't seem to have those type of programmes nowadays. I am fed up with these reality programmes and talent shows!!!!!!!!!!!!. They are not entertainment. Remember Armchair Theatre? Even a good play on tv would be better than the rubbish they put on nowadays. Frances

HI FANCES...YOU'RE RIGHT, WE DO GET A LOAD OF RUBBISH ON TV TODAY...IF IT'S NOT REALITY TV IT'S PROGRAMS THAT ARE 1 OF 10 OR 1 OF 24, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, AND WHO HAS TIME TO SIT AND WATCH THEM ALL RELIGOUSLY? I DO WATCH A COUPLE OF SOAPS, BUT ITS NOT A CASE OF I WILL DIE IF I DON'T SEE THEM (KNOW WHAT I MEAN)? THESE NEW PROGRAMS LIKE 1 OF 10 OR WHATEVER I NEVER WATCH, I DON'T LIKE BEING TIED TO THINGS LIKE THAT.

We can see BBC Prime here and the programme that makes me laugh out loud is "My Family". I never miss "Little Britain" either, although it can be a bit' raw' at times. My favourite programme last night was watching Man U get a thrashing on Sky Sport. Come on Liverpool!

Hi Moonshine, My sentiments exactly !!!! As I said before, I do have a soft spot for Liverpool and I'll never forget the most memorable game of football when Liverpool came from nothing to score 5 goals and won the cup - brilliant. And that's from someone who doesnt normally watch football. We can see BBC Prime here and the programme that makes me laugh out loud is "My Family". I never miss "Little Britain" either, although it can be a bit' raw' at times. My favourite programme last night was watching Man U get a thrashing on Sky Sport. Come on Liverpool!

Hi Frances, Nice to see your photo on the Chatline. Watch out, all the men will be sending posts now on the Chatline !!! You certainly dont look your age. I agree about tv. I loved Armchair Theatre and sometimes they were quite scary for a teenager but I was always allowed to watch them. Does anyone remember the play The Stone Tapes ? How about Beat the Clock on the Palladium? Real Sunday night entertainment. Every Chanel on tv now does Reality Shows and it drives me mad. What I say is bring back "Sunday Night at the London Palladium" and shows of that caliber they don't seem to have those type of programmes nowadays. I am fed up with these reality programmes and talent shows!!!!!!!!!!!!. They are not entertainment. Remember Armchair Theatre? Hi Frances, I'm not too young to remember them and the blonde in Man About the House was Sally Thomset and she went on to marry the producer, I think. These Senior Moments are also driving me mad........I keep forgetting things all the time !!! Hi everyone I was at my friends this evening and we were talking about old programmes on the tv and we got to mention "man about the house" with Richard O Sullivan, and Paula Wilcox. Hi Belinda, I remember Clarence with those glasses and he was always falling over things. I loved SORRY with Ronnie Corbett - I do wish they'd do repeats of that one. Victoria Wood and Jasper Carrott never fail to make me laugh. I've been to several of Victoria's shows and I learnt never to wear eye make-up before one of her shows. I think its wonderful to have such a talent to make people laugh like that. It really is a cure-all.
