I have noticed whenever I log on to Manmates there are always four or five guests signed on...if only half of these guests were to become fulltime members...boy oh boy would we have a full house...more threads, more interesting subjects, memories, photos I could go on and on..these people must live in all parts of the world and are anxious to learn of happenings in and around M/C (long time since i used that abbreviation)
Let us encourage these guests to join us here on Manmates

Morning Jack, As I have mentioned several times here on the Message Board......we have hundreds of members on Manmates and most of those are happy just to browse the site and look for friends, messages etc. without having to come on the Message Board and post comments or join in. Its their choice. We go for quality here on Manmates, not quantity. ;D

Hi there, in Tipperary I have several friends from Manchester, and I have recommended this site to them and all have explored if not joined the site. Enjoy it every time I log on. Keep up the good work.

Did you know Patricia that the song, "It's a long way to Tipperary was written in Stalybridge just outside Manchester on January 30th. 1912. It was written as a result of a 5 shilling bet. Jack judge a popular music hall star was bet 5 shillings that he couldn't write a song in 24 hours. He heard somebody giving directions by starting off, "It's a long way to"........... and the rest as they say, is history. On the anniversary a couple of weeks ago the locals in Stalybridge celebrated the centenary at the pub where Jack Judge stayed, and it was shown on our local news channel. youtu.be/0vKfxKtGLU8
