We have the same of gimmick here in the USA..spend fifty dollars and save 5 cents a gallon if you
spend 200 dollars in a month save 20 cents a gallon then they offer certain items... buy four and
get 5 cents a gallon ( only at certain gas stations)

jackaitch, one of our supermarkets here in Ohio, Giant Eagle, give 10c off per gallon with every 50 dollars spent, and for every gallon bought they give 0.5% off your food bill. What we do is buy a $50 gift card if we intend to visit the cinema or a restaurant and that adds to the gas discount. As for the "rudest" town in the world, that HAS to be in France !! They have perfected the 'shoulder shrug' if you ask a question. As for the one in Britain, they must have based their results on Manchester United fans, which everyone knows, all live in London !
