Carlos Tevez is not happy at City...at least his two children will not be brought in Manchester? These people who make over 2000 pounds (or should I say are given)per week think they are above all other beings...same in the US with basketball players..they receive 57% of the clubs income but want more..football the same...GREED!!!!!

Its a disgrace that Tevez thinks he can manipulate City by blackmailing them. A contract is a contract.....let him stay his contract out for the three years and do what everyone else has to do once they sign a contract. I wonder how our boys over there in Afghanistan and Iraq would feel when they hear about Tevez. Our soldiers must be missing their children too but they have to stay and show some grit.

Thats all it is lisa BLACKMAIL...you are correct a contract is a contract for 242,000 gbpounds per week.. which is disgraceful in the first place...I would not go to any game in which people are "given' OBSCENE amounts...I guess I would not be attending any games!

I always say 'Hit them where it hurts, in their pockets'. If people were to stay away from matches in protest, maybe they would think twice about paying them obscene amounts of money. NO-ONE is worth that kind of money.......apart from our soldiers and nurses.......but, if we did pay them that kind of money we would then get the wrong sort of people doing life-risking jobs and not the angels we have now in hospitals and fighting abroad. Right, get off your soap-box now Lisa and get your hat and coat on...... ;D Thats all it is lisa BLACKMAIL...you are correct a contract is a contract for 242,000 gbpounds per week.. which is disgraceful in the first place...I would not go to any game in which people are "given' OBSCENE amounts...I guess I would not be attending any games!

early Sat morning watched the City - Spurs game....I don,t understand why the game is non English players...I am sure there must be thousands of british born players available...these players(?) they have to-day are not premier league (not from my angle)..maybe it is another political correct situation...Anyone have an answer? ??

Hi Jack you are very observant from so far away and cannot understand why you dont get more replies to your comments. but I will try and answer one or two questions. There are not many English players in the Prem. because it is cheaper to buy abroad. The crowd at city's game in Russia were Russian who should not have been there because the game was ordered to be played behind closed doors as punishment for the Russians raciest chanting. Not many years ago City had a great youth policy but I dont know what happened to it when you can only see 2 or 3 English players in the team

P.S. I did read recently that Sir Alex was amazed when he saw the youth set up at Old Trafford when he first came. He increase the staff by about a 100 and it paid dividends perhaps that is what happened to Citys youth policy. Incidently Ryan Giggs was one of this, he was snapped from under their noses.

Hi Benji...thanks for the reply...it would appear that most of the big league teams have mostly abroad born players on their rosters..I amazed at the "black" players on most teams...is this a requirement by the government? most of them need to learn to use their feet...I must admit they can run but have yet learn how to kick a full size ball (god help them if they played with a leather ball in the rain) I thought City were very fortunate the other night....your thoughts?
Your comment on youth...I remember Matt Busby Babes..Denise Violet.Albert Scanlon Duncan Edwards (to name a few)

Yes the Busby Babes great days weren't they but we are going to have to rebuild and it wont be easy. As for the foreign players who cant kick I think you have forgotten Drogba of Chelsea and one or two others I could mention like Remy,Cissco, Henry.

Watched the game at Stoke beating City (like a drum)...city nothing like last week...no co-ordination lousy passing..too many substitutes blind leading the blind
in need of some Manchester Boys who know the game not just kick and run a new manager could help..pell seems more concerned about the wind blowing his mop
United are next on the TV menue and a move to top of the league
