Tom McAllister is one of many of that era from Naylor St Flats area. Other names are Pat Leach, the Tynans, Kay Burke, Bobby Lindley, Earny Becket,Jimmy Maley, Alan Mills. Pearl Skinkis. Eddie Brandt and Jimmy Tierney to name just a few. Where are they now. Can it be that information technology has passed them by?

Hurdsey is right Paul Sloane was in the class above me and Jimmy Spechko was in the class below me. Question for Hurdsey do you ever hear about Slogger these days. No, But i do keep in touch with:- Terry Bright, he passed his 11 plus and went to Cardinal Langley, he's just retired after working as a spark all his working life. Pat O'Dowd, he passed his 13 plus, and I think he went to St Bedes He's a Joiner like me. I failed just about everything and stayed at St Pats til' Easter 65' We have a couple of reunions a year, one in June at the Irish Centre, It's organised by The St Patricks Former Pupils Association. Then we have another one in November at Blackley Golf Club, organised by The Sportsmen of St Patricks, that one's a boys night out ;D At these events I sometimes see Paul Killroy, Terry Ryan, Pete Burns, etc, there's so many names I'd be here all day. Also in 'our' class were John (spud) Murphy, Danny Merron, Terry Barlow, Terry Carey......I'll have to dig out some old class photo's to refresh my memory More to come....... Ps I used to deliver papers in Naylor st flats, I lived in the new maisonettes on Stalham walk, off Farnborough rd, they've been pulled down now, and delivered for Mr Musgraves paper shop, on Broadhaven rd, near Corpus Christie.

Hi Hurdsey, If you find your old school photos, you could send them to Alan (our Wedmaster) for inclusion in our School Photos.

The Paul Sloane I am talking about would be 71/72 and lived near the junction of Naylor Street and Gunson Street in Miles Platting, he had Sandy coloured hair and the nickname 'Slogger', but as far as I can recall did not have any brothers or Sisters.
