Hi Dave, I remember Bill & Ben, the Flowerpot men.....also Andy Pandy and Muffin the Mule. I watched it on my neighbour's tv and all the local children sat around the tv set watching mesmerised.....I must have been about 5 or 6. I also loved Billy Bunter but have never seen it repeated on BBC, mores the pity.
