I am not a particularly religious person, having had most of my religion knocked out of me as a child by some of the priests at my local church. However when I first saw the following words some years ago I was inspired by them. I would like to share them with my friends on Manmates and wish you all a very merry Christmas. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw4oqDeWTvo

Yeh thats a good un, its popular in recovery circles. Are you familar with the hound of heaven? Described my life. I fled Him, down the nights and down the days; I fled Him, down the arches of the years; I fled Him, down the labyrinthine ways Of my own mind; and in the mist of tears I hid from Him, and under running laughter. Up vistaed hopes I sped; And shot, precipitated, Adown Titanic glooms of chasmed fears, From those strong Feet that followed, followed after. But with unhurrying chase, And unperturbèd pace, Deliberate speed, majestic instancy, They beat--and a Voice beat More instant than the Feet-- "All things betray thee, who betrayest Me." Francis Thompson was an opium addict who would read London newspapers from the trash and write letters to the editorial boards, the newspapers recognized him as a genius greater than Milton but didn't know who he was because there was no return address, he didn't have one, he lived in the streets. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCicfMCAT9Y&feature=related
