iv just got back from a holiday in turkey and was thrown out of a chemist shop because i was whistling , possibly ,unintentionally to my self , like you do . i just wondered if i had broken some Muslim or Islamic law or something , this guy as really angry at me. i wondered if anybody knew anything .

Hi Thomas, Whistling is offensive in Turkey, so I've heard. In Greece, doing the thumbs up is offensive as well. Dont know if its a religious thing or a cultural one.
