"Any one remember the bowling alley, used to be the Regal cinema,it opened about 1960/61,we had a team on a Friday night called The Limpers comprising myself ,Roy Davenport, Bernard Kelly, Ian Fraser and Peter'............, .The bowling lanes were on the ground floor but the Bar had been built into what used to be the old projection box, i.e. on the top floor three flights up . Friday night was keep fit night .I think it cost about 9 bob for three games.
