I got to thinking about the kind of things one would take on a Desert Island. Bearing in mind, of course, that space would be a priority. In your luggage you could only take:
Two books
Three records
Three Foods and
Three Essential Items (ones you couldnt do without).
So, come one folks, let's have your contributions.......please, including Alan and Karl.

BOOKS:
1.Shakespeare's Sonnets.
2.Not without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody. (An American's story of her marriage to an Iranian and subsequent visit to his country where she tried to escape the tyranny of the regime with
her young daughter).
RECORDS:
1. Barbara D i c k s o n . If You're Right
2. George Michael. Turn a Different Corner
3. Chopin Opus 10 No.3
FOODS:
Cheese
Garlic
Honey
ESSENTIAL ITEMS:
Swiss Army Knife
Lavender Essential Oil
Almond Oil

Lisa, if you cam along I would take Gin & Tonic, and plenty of it because I'm partial to it myself Food of course. Plenty of suncream Batteries to play Lisa's records  |

Be more specific Lin. Name the foods, etc. Suncream I could do without because it contains so many chemicals. What records would you take, dont pinch mine........ Lisa, if you cam along I would take Gin & Tonic, and plenty of it because I'm partial to it myself Food of course. Plenty of suncream Batteries to play Lisa's records |

Hi Olly, Why no books? Like your choice of records. So, you're an Il Divo fan. Been to see them three times at the MEN - what performers and what voices. It was standing ovations at every performance.
