I am trying to get in contact with Wendy Hall. She went to English Martyrs School, Moss Side, Manchester from 1957. I left in 1961 aged 15 to go to Secretarial College. We used to walk down Claremount Road beside Alexandra Park. She lived, as far as I can remember near Great Western Street, and we used to meet at the Greengrocers at the top of Alexandra Road and Claremount Road and walked to school. I lived in Heywood Street, beside the bomb site. I would love for her to contact me either through this forum or through my email address - patriciaodriscoll1@gmail.com. Hi, I am just wondering if I can amend some of the details on my previous post. It is possible that Wendy Hall may not remember me as Patricia (Pat) Daly, but as Catherine Daly. When I attended St Joseph's Primary School in Clarence Street one of the nuns there told me that there were too many Pat's in the school and that I would be called Catherine Daly from then on. Perhaps this might bring some response.

Hi, through the auspices of a member of this group I was given various details regarding Wendy Hall. I contacted various members of her family some months ago, however they did not respond so I think I should bring this post should come to a close. It has made me very unhappy, but I am not responsible for other people and whether they respond.. Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

Hi Patricia, Very often, when people don't respond to left messages, there could be a variety of reasons. People often join groups but never check on their messages. So, what appears to be non-communication could have other reasons. It is very hurtful when people don't reply to messages but please don't give up coming here on Manmates, you are a very valued member.
