Hi,
Does anybody live near enough to the Lord Nelson Pub in Gorton Manchester to find out the name of the Brewery. I have written and emailed the Landlord but, obviously a busy man. My Gdad ran the pub up to his death in 1952. I would like to contact the Brewery to see if they have any photos as I have never seen a photo of him.

HIYA DEBS.........IN 1971....IT WER WILSONS BREW.......IN 1960....IT WER WILSONS BREW........BUT 1951.....IT SAYS OVER DOOR...........WALKER & HOMFRAYS...(CORRECT SPELT).....I READ THAT THEY MERGED WITH WILSONS....IN 1949....  IM SURE IT STILL IS "WILLIES" |

It never entered my head to look at the CAMRA website. I've never heard of Walker & Homfrays Olly, where did you see this ?

Hi Benland, sorry, not been on line for a while.
My Grandparents were Frank and Louie Worsley ( nee Boardman )
Any help would be fab.
