Hi my first job was at a coffee and Tea importers on the corner of London Road and Fairfield Street back in 1971/2 the local pub was the Robin Hood right on the corner all the buildings are now gone
the company was called Murgatroyd and Holt does anyone remember this company and do you have any details or pictures of the place/staff which would be appreciated

Hi Printerman, I know this is 8 years on but my Mum used to work here in 1965. She is also looking for photos or other staff that worked here.
Did you manage to find anything at all on this place over the years?
I'm doing a memory box for Xmas for her and I really would like to get some memorabilia.
