Hi Tracy,
A couple of younger friends of mine went through this process last year. When I read your message I spoke to them about it. Although it did not work for them, they were really full of praise for the first-class treatment and courtesy they received at the hospital. They said it was quite stressfull, but they were treated well. hope this helps you. Regards, and good luck!

During 1989 I was due to have my first try at IVF at St. Mary's in Manchester (after being on their waiting list for 8 years) - I was due to have the first "try" in December and I fell pregnant naturally in the June/July of '89!!! I went on to give birth to a beautiful baby boy (at St. Mary's) in March 1990. He is 16 now and we never were blessed with a brother or sister for him. We have always been grateful for at least one chance at parenthood though and always count our blessings. GOOD LUCK in your quest to be parents - it is the BEST job in the world and EVERYONE should be able to experience it - even once in their lives. My heart goes out to anyone out there not lucky enough to get pregnant without intervention. May you all be blessed eventually!
