hi every one im just wodering if there is any one out there who knows of an arnold and irene gover living in ivy street off hyde road gorton in 1939 and then moveing to charlotte street or if ther is any arnold gover lived in turner street prior to ivy street and irene govers maiden name was young they had a little boy called roy he was put up for addoptin in 1947 to a mr john thomas charnock and issabell charnock and they lived in nelson street off hyde road later to become felstead street which was ware i was borne in 7/8/1958 as janet charnock my god parents frank and shiella hart lived next door i would love to know if there is any one out there who remembers them as they r my real grandparents and i am trying to trace my family historey

I started searching the Cheshire Births Deaths and Marriages online and found heaps of inforamtion that way. It is remarkable who knows who on this site. Have you checked out the guestbook on Manmates.? I read it for ages and I even found a friend of my Aunt in Gorton - and was given her phone number. I hope you are as lucky in your search. J T CHARNOCK and ISSABELL are your parents yes? How do you come to think/know Frank & sheiella Hart are your grandparents? The only way i can see them been your grandparents are if they were Siella( maiden name not known) Charnock's parents? |

hi eternal flame no jt charnock and issabella was my fathers addopted parents so they was the grandparents that i knew but his real parents we have found out are arnold and irene gover and sheila and frank hart were my god parents
