HI EVERYONE, While looking through the messages on the Guestbook, I noticed that many members sent messages to Alan in praise of the Manmates website. With this in mind, I thought it would be nice to start a new Thread for any members to put down their thanks and thoughts of appreciation to Manmates and all the hard work that Alan does in so giving of his time to making the site as popular as it is. Feel free to add your thoughts.  |

I would like to personally thank Alan for all his hard work on Manmates, he does a wonderful job, the site is great... photos of past and present, and reading the messages about Manchester are great for me especially, as I left there when I was only seven, so most of my memories are from the times we went back there on holidays, which was a few times a year...I still love the place, and hold onto those memories...and this site, thanks to Alan, has helped make it easier for me personally. I agree Tommy, Lisa does make things easier..I don't believe there is another site like this one to be honest.

HI ALL,
TO ALAN THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT SITE,
LIN IS RIGHT THERE IS NOT ANOTHER SITE LIKE IT OR NEARLY AS GOOD AS THIS ONE.
ALAN HAS WORKED REALLY HARD TO SET THIS SITE TO THE STANDARD THAT IT IS AT.
I HAVE FOUND OLD AND NEW FRIENDS ON THIS SITE,WHO IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS HAVE BEEN A GODSEND ,AND A GREAT SUPPORT TO ME.
THE PHOTOS AND SUBJECTS THAT IT COVERS ARE SECOND TO NONE.
THANKS AGAIN TO ALAN ,AND OF COURSE TO LISA WHO THE LAST FEW MONTHS HAS BEEN HELPING ALAN WITH THE CHAT SITE.

I think that the number of people who use this site is an unspoken thank you to the great effort put in by Alan and Lisa. Now if somebody could enlighten me how to retrieve a PM,i would be much obliged, i logged on you have 6 messages one is new, i press messages , please log on, keep going round in circles, and i'm desperate to know what the message says.HELP. H Frank, I think Tommy has already answered this but one of the reasons why you cant open your Messages is you have to log in before you can open any messages. The same goes for replying to any posts - you cant reply to a post unless you are logged in first. If you just want to Browse through the posts, then you dont need to log in. If you want to see any messages that YOU have sent, then press OUTBOX. Hope this explains it for you Frank.
