WHAT LESSONS HAVE YOU LEARNED THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE? I have learned too many to remember but here are a few:
You never know what goes on behind closed doors. Never judge a person until you have walked in their shoes for a day. Children cant be trusted with confidences and secrets. Nothing is ever as it first appears. Trust no-one, believe nothing, question everything...... Dont confuse LOVE with LUST A reputation can be destroyed by one moments foolishness You can never be certain how your children will turn out Never trust a politician Chocolate cures all.................................. and many more.....

I learnt that you should'nt compare yourself to others - cos they are more screwed up than you think and one for the girls I learnt that its not what you wear, it the way you take it off

Hi Bodzy, Always be a first-rate version of yourself rather than a second-rate one of someone else......... I learnt that you should'nt compare yourself to others - cos they are more screwed up than you think and one for the girls I learnt that its not what you wear, it the way you take it off

There's nowt s'queer as folk 'cept me n'thee, an even thee's a little queer. That one came from a native of Bacup in the late 50's he was a horse & cart driver for Atlas Express parcel collections in town, If I remember correctly his name was Bernard and was a fount of wisdom to a young whippersnapper like me.

Hi Frank....I have to agree with you...you can't believe what you read, and half of what you're told is what people think you want to hear, so you can't believe that either. Lin

I learnt that whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed and for the married ones I learnt one good turn gets most of the blankets

An old friend of mine always looked on the dark side,her favourite sayings were,when theres a light at the end of a tunnel,its usually a train. When one door opens another one slams in your face.Always expect the worse and you will never be let down,and ,The things you see when you havnt got a gun.That all sounds so depressing,but it used to make me laugh x Belinda

a clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory:
If at first you dont suceed ,destroy all the evidence that you tried:
the only substitute fo good manners is fast reflexes;

* Be yourself.
* An ex is an ex for a REASON!
* Tell the Truth! Life's much more fun without guilt tagging along as your friend. (Besides, it's more likely to shock people... grins)
* And a common mantra "This too shall pass." Once you've reached the bottom, there's nowhere to go but UP!
