EVER BEEN DRIVEN MAD BY THE THINGS PEOPLE SAY? When people say "At this moment in time......." Its the "in time" bit that drives me crazy. How about just saying "At this moment"? Also when people are spelling things that contain the letter 'H'. Instead of saying it as it should be, AITCH, they pronounce it HAITCH with breathy emphasis on the H. I've even heard newsreaders do it and I want to write to them to tell them to look up AITCH in the dictionary.

Hi Lin,, How are you feeling? You poor thing - there's nothing worse than the feeling you get with 'Flu; you think you'll never get better, but you do. Take it easy Lin and get well soon. Rasing to the ground - ah, the incongruity of the English language. The Arabs cant understand why our language is so complicated........neither can I?

What a fighter you are, Lin. I'm like you, I dont let things beat me easily. Even with Flu I ave to get up and do things even though I know I should stay in bed. Men are different, at the slightest cold they take to their beds and moan, moan, moan I think it must be a 'female' thing - struggling through adversity......ok Tommy & Joe I know what you're gonna say.....

One that gets me is when someone is describing their conversation with someone : "Then I turned around and said....". Can't you just stand still and say what you have to say?
