My first school was The Holy Family in Hulme. I think I was 4/5. Then went to St. Augustines and went to Cavendish School for Home Economics! From there went to St. Ignatius, but when I was attending St. Agustines and St. Ignatiius I lived on Moor Lane, Wythenshawe and travelled by free bus pass to Manchester. I remember catching the #50 bus home and buying Uncle Joe's Mint Balls to eat on the bus.

My schools were Seymour rd,,St Thomas,,St Agnes,,Birchfields and Moseley Road...Moseley Rd has a website run from OZ and we have get togethers every year although the school was demolished years ago...........St Agnes (Longsight) is presently being demolished blt 1881....They are building upwards and the play ground will be on the roof....Most of the children going there are Islamic denoting the changing ethnic flavor of Longsight...St Agnes has always had great teachers and a high volume of past pupils have done well in life..................Ian..vancouver
