I have been looking into finding relatives of Alfred Harrison killed in WW1 in France 4th October 1918 aged 20 years. He lived at 65 Rowland Street Beswick with his Father Issac and Mother Sarah. Also siblings Edith and Issac in 1901. On the gravestone in Gorton cemetery there is an Arthur and an Evelyn and I was wondering if any relatives of these can help me find some info or pics of Alfred. I am not a relative myself but have been interested about him as I pass his grave everytime I go to visit my relatives and I would love to find out anything about Alfreds life. I would be very grateful. thanks from Susan

I have changed the date for Edith which is not 1908-1984 but actually 1900-1984!!! Evelyn is 1908-1982 so this must be a sister or Arthurs wife, as they lived at the same address and were buried on the same day. I must have mixed up the date for Edith and Evelyn so sorry about that. Let me know if you find out anything. thanks from sue

:)No I havent had any replies as yet. Dont know really what to do next as they all seem to be buried in the one place. How would I find any relatives of the Harrisons? Maybe they didnt have any children so there will be no relatives available apart from maybe the extended family of Issac and Sarah. Any suggestions? thanks from sue x
