Anyone else think the Eurovision song contest is a political farce and it's about time we Brits kicked the whole thing into touch for good?. Ok,It was never that good, a bit cheesy, but now what a load of trash!

I loved it when Terry has muted that he will not do another Eurovision as its become down to political voting... if they gave him another £5k he will change his mind. The thing is ... why didnt he say something just over 10 years ago when it was becoming evident something was 'amiss'... and more so only 5 years ago when it was MORE than OBVIOUS it was being rigged.... mind you... at around £20k a show I might choose to disregard Integrity... or maybe not

Morning Tigger, Isnt EVERYTHING today about 'money' ? Integrity and values seem to have gone out the window......along with all the other values we held dear. My wife says I'm getting like Victor Meldrew, always complaining about something on T.v or in the neighbourhood, but I don't believe it! We, as a nation, (G.B) are letting our standards fall with ever increasing speed and mostly without a murmer of protest! LONG LIVE THE MELDREWS!

ahhh... Cheers for that Mike. I have heard of the prog One Foot In The Grave - but never watched it. Just Googled it and it seems it was quite a good bit of telly. Mind you... I have only ever seen ONE episode of Only Fools And Horses - which says a lot for me doesn't it... ;D ;D

Am I the only person in the country who has never, ever, seen Eastenders?

Hi Bilco, I used to watch Eastenders a lot, especially when I moved back to Manchester. I stopped watching it several months ago when the storylines were so pathetic. I've never complained to the BBC before but I did when certain characters were driving me round the bend (they've since got rid of them). It gave the wrong impression of East London. The only soap I watch now is Coronation Street. As for Eastenders Bill, you weren't missing much.....

HI LISA..I THINK WITH THESE SOAPS ITS SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUTS, SOMETIMES THEY HAVE GOOD STORY LINES AND OTHER TIMES THEY'RE A BIT MONOTONOUS.
