My granddaughter who is six comes round every friday night, after tea we usually go into the kitchen, and with the door closed and lots of make up on turn on the radio and do the x factor, dance sing etc. as we were doing the macarana, our style, she asked me if a man had ever asked if I wanted help crossing the road, as it was the summer holidays and she had been playing out a lot, and I being suspicious of her young age said no, why ,has anyone asked you if you want to cross the road? without missing a step she replied.................. NO IM NOT THAT OLD ! (IM 59) ANYONE GOT ANY PHILOSAN ?

A few years ago I used to do voluntary work at my daughter's primary school teaching Arts and Crafts and I took some of my watercolour paintings in to show the children. After school, I was cycling home when I heard this child's voice shouting to me "I loved your paintings Mrs. Redford.........you're NEARLY an artist". I almost fell off my bike with laughter.

When I drove a cab I used to pick up special needs children and take them to school. One day I picked up a four year old profoundly deaf little boy for his first day at school. I am not exactly what you could call slim, so it must have been quite traumatic for the little lad, not really knowing where he was going to be taken away from his heavily pregnant mum by a portly stranger.
When we got to the school he held my hand tightly. I located the teacher and introduced myself and the little boy. All the time I was chatting to the teacher he was looking me up and down quizzically. Suddenly he reached up and with his free hand he patted my stomach and proclaimed. "Awww baby"! ;D ;D ;D
