Trauma, Trivia and Joy

This new Thread (TTJ) is intended to get you all chatting, again. Tell us about something Traumatic, something Trivial and something Joyful that has happened to you this last week. I'll start off with mine:
TRAUMA: A close friend threatened suicide this week and, hopefully, I talked her out of it.
TRIVIA: The squirrels in the garden have eaten all my tulip bulbs.
JOY: I got the sound back on my laptop after nine months.

THIS WEEK, WELL....
TRAUMA: A FRIENDS MOTHER DIED, AND BEFORE THE END OF THE SAME WEEK HER HUSBAND WAS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL WITH A HEART ATTACK.
TRIVIA: MY BIG POT PLANTER BLEW OVER AND SMASHED IN THE GALES WE'VE BEEN HAVING DOWN SOUTH.
JOY: HEARING FROM ALL MY PALS IN EGYPT OVER THE PHONE.
