• Question: How do I register for the ManMate’s Member’s forum

• Click register at the top of the page.
• Fill all fields including security letters and numbers at the bottom. If it shows capital letter then this is what you have to type in. If it shows lower case then you have to type in lower case letters
• You then have to tick the radial button at the bottom agreeing to the terms and conditions. Then click Create accounts
• If you have made an error on the form it will tell you to correct it. You will then have to put in the new security numbers again, then, click Create accounts again.
• You should then get this window and statement: An email has been sent to you email account with an activation code to activate your account. In order to use your account, you must enter the activation code that is contained in that email. Please login below, and then enter the activation key that is provided to you in the email.
If you entered the wrong email address or do not receive your activation email, you will be able to update your email address and have a new activation key sent to you after you login. If you do not receive your registration email, you may want to check your Junk Mail folder that some email providers offer, as your registration email may be there.
• Minimise this window then go and collect your email. Your email will contain your user name and pass word. It will also have a blue link to take you back to a login window, but you also have this minimised. So you can use either. However, before you do this, below the blue link you will find it says “Your activation key is:” then there will be a few letters and numbers. This is Your activation key. Highlight this and copy it, then go to the login window, it will already have your user name typed in. You then have to type in your password and press login. This will take you to the activation window. Paste your key in and press activate account.
• You should then get this: Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum.
• It may then take up to 24 hours before a member of staff has time to approve you account
• That is all there is to it. It sounds long winded but in reality it is fairly easy and quick.

Scroll to the top of the page and click on profile in the next window click on modify profile. You can alter several things about your profile from here.•

• How to I send in a photo to ManMates

Answer
• Scan your photo and save it as a Jpeg and save to where you will easily find it again like the desktop.
• Then right click on the photo and you will have several options. Choose and click Send to: on the next option choose and click Mail Recipient this will then bring up a blank email with the photo attached. You can now put this address in: webmaster@manmates.co.uk and then click send. That is all there is to it. But please could you include details of the photo, street names, school and if for member's photos areas what information you would like added.

To add a photo to your profile you will have to send it in by email to me at webmaster@manmates.co.uk I shall edit it to the right size and put it on site for you. If you also want it on the member's page please let me know your background details.
To add a photo to a thread you have to click on the Insert Hyperlink at the top when you are writing the post. The icon looks like the earth, bottom row second left of the format tools a the top. you will get these: tags appearing. put the address of the URL where the photo is between these tags. You will then see the photo appear when you post the reply.
