Passed away suddenly this week and I thought of this forum and how I had recently been lead here, how much I had discussed with Dad about places and topics I have read here and it had invoked memories for both of us. Sadly Mum had,had Dementia and I couldnt share with her but she is free of that insidious disease now Thankyou all for your most interesting site

So sorry to hear about your loss......carry on looking for those memories because you never know who's sitting on your shoulder watching. Hope your mom finds peace now and that you let her live through your laughter. Take care.

I miss you so much, your laugh, your smile, your touch. You always brightened my days with all the smiles you sent my way. I need you as my angel to always be at my side. I need you as my angel to give me peace of mind. I like to think your near to me to know that you are there. Even though I can not see you, I feel that you are near. Please do not forget me mom, for you are always in my heart, my thoughts and prayers. I love you.

Thankyou all so much for showing much kindness and to Mike for the poem I will use as part of Mums Eulogy The memories for Dad are many at the moment so much so that we actually sat with one of his English map books last night and he explaining to me where each part was. Hugs Michelle

Thankyou for your suggestion although I find most areas that ring a bell to myself and Dad are well covered here on the site. Due to the events of this past week we are still chatting on many memories and I have even learnt more about Dads birth place and upbringing which is fascinating for me. Dad was born in Ardwicke and lived on Howard St we have looked up his old school pics I was born Finchley Rd, Fallowfield My grandparents lived at 51,Mauldeth Rd west thats Withington I think M
