Hi Everyone, and especially Lin. I have just uploaded to the Flickr site, five photos sent in by Lin. Here is the link: www.flickr.com/photos/manmatesmorephotos/ Anyone can sign up for an account to this site and put their photos on. What I intend to do is upload any photos in the future that are surplus, or I can't fit in to any categories. Unfortunately I registered an inappropriate name for the page, my old alias in fact....? What do you all think? |

Thanks for that, think you've done a good job, they were obviously ok to use after all...where will you put the Ashton bus? on the same site?
I think this is a good idea though for any that are surplus...you clever thing:0)

Alan, great idea - great pics Lin!! I'm glad as now I'll have somewhere to post my hubbies "scenery" pics from his travels to Hungary and Romania (when he gets around to getting them developed that is). Cheers Alan, you've excelled yourself again!

To everyone - I have now put hubby's photos of his work trip last year to Hungary and Romania on the www.flickr.com website that Alan kindly told us all about. To be able to view them you would need to entrust me with your email address so that I can INVITE you to view them. You can do this by sending me a PM and I promise I will not pass your details on to a third party. I had to open a Yahoo email account before I could use Flickr.com but it will be worthwhile if I can share my photos with MM members. All those of you whose email addresses I already have will receive an invitation asap. I hope you'll provide me with feedback as to how easy/hard it was to view my photos. If I could offer one word of advice - I made the photos into a SET so they can be viewed as a slideshow. To do this I chose "View as a Slideshow" and then "New Window". I also altered the speed of the intervals to 10 seconds. If I could also offer the following advice: If you want your photos to be in numerical order then UPLOAD the oldest one first - I didn't do this and so the order of the photos are back to front (that's why I reorganised them and placed them in a SET - you get to "choose" the order that way). If anyone has used Flickr.com and has any advice for novices like me then please feel free to enlighten me. |

To everyone that accepted my invite from Flickr.com and have viewed my photos - thank you so much. I shall be adding the missing photos very soon (Numbers 3, 5, 6, 8) - it's still a mystery to me how they disappeared from the file on my pc in the first place!! Such is life eh? I also hope to add more photos at a later date so I will keep you posted.
Tommy - got your message and I am re-sending your invite to view the photos - better luck this time round eh?
ADDENDUM: Have added the missing photos now.
Maureen - I hope to add a full SET of photos of Fluff in the next few weeks.
Joe - love your account of "returning" home from holiday - pleased to hear you are treating your wife like royalty. Welcome back to the real world you suntanned DEVIL!!
