United and City are really spending their money on new players, City are splashing the most thanks to the Shiekes but which one will come out top. I havnt seen any of united games in the States but I bet Jackaitch as. What do you say Jack!

Watched all the games (wnenever possible) United were OK nothing to write home about City not so good the game versus Spurs was the most disgusting game of football I ever did watch (even commented on Facebook and Twitter) even tho City won the game 3-0...the goals were nothing types Kyle Walker looks to be a good addition but they need a midfielder to replace Yaya Toure all he does is "Jog" around...I am not to sure on United,s purchase of the Chelsea drop out lukaku or whatever..Everton did nothing but get rid and get a return of money they had paid for him

Well we have got another ex Chelsea player now Matic a good player in his time but past his peak now but maybe strength in depth for United. Like you I am not sure about Lukaku but he is only 23 and i think he will have more support with the Reds than he did at Everton. City have made some good signings apart from Walker who I think maybe like Matic a good back-up.

The Dublin game just one hour away (1.30pm) hope it brings out the best in all the players......Matic just didn,t go for the ride to Dublin...Jose will play him for sure.....Question why have Spurs sold two of their regular team players.....need the cash?....it will all come out in the wash (my mother used to say)

You were spot on Jack with your thoughts re Matic playing i Dublin and with your thinking re Spurs selling their best players but in an interview today they dont seem to be in the market for anyone unless it is all being done hush hush. I think they are right, there is too much money thrown about in the game, look at the money PSG are going to pay for Nemar.Rediculous! George Best would have cost double that mind you.

At today,s stupid prices what would DUNCAN EDWARDS worth be? Not many people living today would remember him..only twenty years of age (when he lost his life in Munich) and he could "do it all" he was built like a tank, was as smart as they were in those days...the biggest loss in football history

about last nights game with real madrid, the gulf between the two teams was two divisions , united resorting to the long ball down the middle for fillini and co which is not the way you play in the champions league or have united forgotten?

United certainly improved their game against West Ham...at least they did not start the season as they did last year...no goal draw...this ex Chelsea player Matic has changed their approach and finish

United, not so much this yr. I think there's a lack of chemistry, talent isn't the problem.
