I was looking at Google maps Street View at my old residence on Chester Rd Hulme and got a shock when I saw the The Bulls Head had been demolished and another pub The Hope one of the smallest pubs in Manchester had been converted into a smart office block and almost unrecognizable. Fortunately while you are on street view you can bring up the same scene taken a few years previous and therefore you can see the pubs as they used to be. Has anyone got any pictures of these pubs for the archives or is there any way we can copy them off Google. To see this put 295 Chester Rd Hulme in Google street view.

If you have a look on Manchester Images you will see all the old photos. A lot of the old public houses have been either demolished or taken over by Mosques now here in Manchester. It is sad to see some of the lovely buildings demolished.
