Website inactivity!

Hi Everybody

I dont get on Manmates as often as some members but when I do I notice not much going on of any interest and people crying out for some response from the world wide web. Jackaitch does his best as do the moderators and I wonder why their work goes unheeded.
Well one reason I think maybe is the way the website opens up. When you click on Manmates the first page before you log on seems a little blank in certain fields and would give the impression not much going on but when you log in this page is full of subjects and things to explore and a different picture altogether. I will leave it there and hope it leads to a fruitful discusion

Very well spoken Benji...this particular problem started a few years back by some disillusioned members who tried to take over with politically

subject matter,their contents etc...fortunately Alan & Lisa would not agree with using the site for their own agendas and "cut

them off at the pass"..We have quite a few guest every day....we must try to encourage them to join in...we have one member Cabbyjohn

who started a "thinking game" which became one of the most replied to on the general board...if someone could come up with such a topic

it would certainly be enjoyed by the membership..

Thanks for your comments Jack I knew I could rely on you but did you see what I meant between the initial web page and the log on page. If someone was just browsing that first page would not attract many and this is where poeple are turning off if you get what I mean.Keep up the good work.

I agree Benji and Jack and I thank you for your comments. As Moderator on MM I found I cant access the site easily anymore and I do exactly what others do, if I cant get on I give up. If you wonder why I don't reply to members' posts its because I cant access or see them. I hope you understand. I have spoken to Alan about this but there's nothing Alan can do about the new site.

Haven't been here for several yrs, but life has slowed down recently, semi retired now, still in the US.
I noticed almost every forum says no brief chatting, say wha?

Logging on hasn't been an issue, running firefox on WIN 7.
