Good riddance to Tevez. Hope Rooney goes soon. He's got too big for his boots.

Most of them get off being charged. Here in the UK they use a lawyer called Mr. Loophole who uses the iniquities of the law to get clients off. I cant understand why they don't just hold their hands up and admit that they have broken the law . It seems to be the norm these days for 'celebrities' NOT to want to take responsibility for their actions.

I cant understand why they don't just hold their hands up and admit that they have broken the law . It seems to be the norm these days for 'celebrities' NOT to want to take responsibility for their actions. worst one was Alex Ferguson when he hired Mr Loophole to get him of a charge of driving down the hard shoulder of the M6 when the trafic was not moving due to some reason or other, if that had been you or me we would have just held our hands up and said 'ok' and pay the fine-unless we had a dam good reason for using the hard shoulder-, but Fergie believes he is outside the law, any respect I had for the guy went down the plughole the day he got off that charge, he should have shown that he was no different from any normal guy and paid up and took the points on his licence, and I was a united supporter for years, in my 22 years down Southampton I used to travell up for a large percent of uniteds home games, now I pop into Accrington Stanley a handfull of times per season I would not pay a fiver to see Man U now, money has ruined the top teams.

its no different than having a new boss at your place of work, in this instance like any workplace there are those players(employees) who will jump when the new boss says "jump" and there are those players who will say "why", so they are not all singing from the same song sheet at the moment, they are just not playing like a team at the moment, David Moyes has yet to prove himself in the transfer market, his only big signing Fellaini from his old club Everton has yet to prove he is good enough for the club, watching the game on TV a few nights back (Euro against Shakhtar Donetsk )I got bored to death watching them just passing the ball sideways or backwards, play like that against the top Euro teams and they will get a good hiding.

I saw the United game on TV and it appears they have at long last remembered how to pass the ball forward instead of their off late habbit of passing mostly sideways or backwards. have they woke up at last ?.

Hi Jack, You are not the only one to be concerned about the Reds but to put you in the picture I have just been to the club to watch their match against Chelsea and I can tell you they put up a good show but were let down by the fact our best finishers are on the sidelines injured. When they get back (van persie & rooney)will put things right and I am sure we will finish higher up the league. As regards transfers the position is no one wants to join us while we are struggling. City havn't got that problem they have bought that many top players they wouldnt miss any key player becuase they have that many.

Good evening Jack or should I say good afternoon, I think that would be more apt. Yes there was some dirty play but I thought it would have been one of the Chelsea players who would have gone off not Tevich but it was a straight red no argument. Sorry golf is not my game but today as been a beautiful sunny spring like day and that takes me to my green the bowling green. The season hasn't started yet but when we get the chance we like to get out practicing. We have a wintergreen at Hyde where we do this, the proper greens are not ready yet. Did you do any when you were over here?

I left UK in 1955 at the tender age of 23 so never did any lawn bowling...enjoy watching the real pros playing...amazing how they can apply the bias to "place" the bowl almost leaning on the Jack....very clever...same method as used in Curling...where players really get with it!! Winter green.. is this a man made grass? Nice to read that your weather has improved...ours...chilly this morning now people are out playing golf in shorts and shirtsleeves....Who knows Benji we may attract some visitors with this powerful knowledge....hope so

The bowls you may have been watching is panel bowling which is mainly a indoor game. They do play it outdoors on grass as well but it is mainly playing up & down the green whereas Crown green bowls which is played mainly in the North of England is played on a green with a slight mound in the middle so when you bowl you have to take this into consideration as well as the bias of the bowl, very tricky! The winter green is only called that because it is the only pitch we can play on this time of the year, It isn't a lush green but just right for practice.

Further to my blog of 22hours ago...312k gbp a week....how rediculous...how does a guy or girl feel like paying
to see a match where one guy makes 600times the amount they would make in a year (is my math correct or is it so
out of line)?

Another day and another dollar Stoke2 United 1....just do not seem to combine...they have the talent but nothing seems to mix
There are whey too many fouls in these games of late....yellow cards are not the answer..hit them in the pocket (wallet) that is the only way that will stop the silly fouls and dives.
What sayeth thou?

I get annoyed as soon as I see Michael Carricks name on the team sheet, when they hammered Roma 7-1 a few years back Carrick had a great game, scoring two goals and having a hand in 2 or 3 more, and he sprayed 40 yard passes to the forward players, but since then he has gone backwards more offten or not passing the ball either sideways or backwards, but not offten forward, he did show in that Roma game that he can do it but his play is now mostly negative, and his goal scoring is very poor, I will be happy the day he leaves

united have been loosing ground for years to man city trying to keep up with the massive amount of money they have been able to spend . the only reason they won the prem last year was because of Ferguson's reaction to the previous season, it was a knee jerk reaction ( and it worked) . unfortunately you do not have the same drive this season. they have a fight on there hands to qualify for the CL.
