It would be more helpful and much appreciated if those requesting information on lost family members could at least furnish more info, year and place of birth, approximate age when last in contact, information on family members -maiden name etc. Without these details one can spend hours trawling through countless records with little to show. Over the Easter weekend with little else to do, I spent a few hours looking at some of the lost family request on this site, but I was amazed just how little information people give.

It would be more helpful and much appreciated if those requesting information on lost family members could at least furnish more info, year and place of birth, approximate age when last in contact, information on family members -maiden name etc. Without these details one can spend hours trawling through countless records with little to show. Over the Easter weekend with little else to do, I spent a few hours looking at some of the lost family request on this site, but I was amazed just how little information people give. |
