Is "Bonfire Night" the old tradition of burning the" Houses of Parliament"still celebrated? As a child I remember the fire set
in the "entry" in between the houses..the mothers would make
treacle toffee and other goodies.

fireworks (bangers and rockets) the 4th of July and some crazies let the d**** things off on Dec 31st celebrating the New Year

It doesnt seem as bad as in previous years here.....now its over, we just have to wait for New Year's eve then its all over for another year.
