Hi Lin, Definitely agree. You can tell a lot by silences.....and the written word. There's another FAULT I have : Reading peoples hand-writing........ YES IT'S NOT AS EASY WITH JUST A VOICE, BUT YOU CAN READ BETWEEN THE LINES OF LOTS OF THINGS SAID OR THINGS WRITTEN DON'T YOU THINK? LIN |

HI LISA...DON'T GET MUCH CHANCE TO DO THAT NOW SEEING AS EVERYONE SEEMS TO TYPE OUT LETTERS THESE DAYS, OF COURSE IT DEPENDS ON WHICH JOB A PERSON DOES...I TAKE IT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE ACTUAL WRITING? Hi Lin, No I mean the actual writing and then trying to work out what's between the lines. Sometimes things can be misconstrued in letters especially if punctuation is a problem. Face to face is better because then you can see their face and especially the eyes. On friday my six year old grandaughter was sat on my knee having a cuddle, she was stroking the loose skin under my chin when she asked me why I had this , I said its because Im fat, OH GRANDMA your not fat, your just my OLD grandma..............Er thanks Ellie!!!!
